As Yifei bonds with the sword, he uncovers a conspiracy led by the rebellious Prince Zhu Shengbei, who seeks to overthrow the emperor and exploit the village's resources. Alongside his blind brother Feng Yile and the spirited Tang Jian'er, Yifei navigates love, betrayal, and political intrigue. He faces off against powerful enemies, including the ruthless Ouyang Nitian, to protect his village and avenge his family. The Hunter's Prey AKA Black Gold Blood Sword or The Black (Blood) Sword was a Hong Kong based Wuxia TV series based on a novel by Huang Yi. The TV show aired on the channel TVB Jade in 1990.
