Andrey, a journalist with great ambitions, is approaching his fortieth birthday as a financial and emotional bankrupt. Meeting with young Sasha, nicknamed Ugolek, an unusual model with burnt skin, gives him a chance to start from scratch. He writes an article about the fate of Ugolka, which causes a wide public response. Andrey goes to Sasha's homeland, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, to investigate other facts from her past. Andrey will have to do hard work to uncover the truth and bring it to his readers.
