Rima Lyn (aka Rima Delane) was born in Brooklyn, NY. She grew up in Greenwich Village, and happened to live next door to the renown HB Studios on Bank Street. Her mother signed her up for a class at age 8. She remembers 'being a tree,' howling like a dog and rolling around on the floor a lot.

n 1976, she moved to Los Angeles. She continued her interest in acting and studied with Judy Mcglaughlin, Lynette Katselas and later with Stephanie Feury.
