Jasper Mielke

Jasper Philipp Mielke (*1982 in Ratzeburg) is a German film producer.

Mielke studied Applied Media Management at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences starting in 2004 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2007. He then began working as a film producer and later completed film studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In 2016, together with Karoline Henkel and Arto Sebastian, he founded the production company Wood Water Films.

His next feature film was Schneeblind, about a blind boy during the hunger winter of 1946/47 in the Black Forest. In 2021, he produced Bürgermeister,…
