We see a Rolls-Royce ride into the country, with a young orphan named Eva, accompanied by her uncle and aunt. They go to the man, she just married, but do not know yet. This man, Sir Remy, is a widower, surrounded by guests and staff lives in a castle, in the memory of his former wife, Mathilde, whose perfect doppelganger Eve.
