After her passing her two daughters, Iris and Violet, are left to deal with the aftermath of cleaning out her doomsday stash of expired canned goods, freeze dried food, and the occasional surprise weapon. Over the course of riffling through her stash, they discover what was most important to their mother in the end. Doomsday Daughters is a heartfelt short story about grief, loss, canned beans and what matters most.
